Cat Ninja Best Performances

Cat Ninja Best offspring

Cat Ninja, formerly Dyrusa H, has proven she carries the very best showjumping genetics through her outstanding performances in CSI5*. Now retired from top-level sport, the remarkable Cat Ninja is fully dedicated to breeding. There are currently no offspring from Cat Ninja on the market, making access to her direct bloodline a true rarity.

€116,000 earnings in CSI5*
Born in the Netherlands, Cat Ninja crossed the Atlantic to shine in the United States under the saddle of Jacqueline Steffens Daly. A powerful bay mare with an exceptional topline, her lightning speed on the ground made her a force to be reckoned with in 1.50m speed classes at the most prestigious CSI5* shows: Traverse City, Thermal, Wellington, Vancouver-Langley, Washington, Ottawa, Ocala… Her competitive nature led to total earnings of €116,000. With her elegant canter, reach, balance, power through the back, sharp reflexes and strong mindset, Cat Ninja combines all the top traits sought after in modern sport.

Cat Ninja, a true daughter of Zirocco Blue
Zirocco Blue (Mr Blue) is one of the fastest rising stars in breeding and now ranks 9th in the 2024 WBFSH Sire Rankings. Embedding Zirocco Blue’s exceptional genetics into a pedigree is becoming essential for producing tomorrow’s champions. His blood also brings in the precious lines of Voltaire (sire of Kannan), Le Tot de Semilly (sire of Diamant de Semilly), and Jalisco B (sire of Quidam de Revel), all anchored in the legendary “des Forêts” damline of May Flower III by Uriel.

Corland, Indoctro, Nimmerdor, the great names of breeding
Cat Ninja’s second dam is by the legendary Corland (Cor de la Bryère x Landgraf I), sire of the unforgettable Silvana*HDC. Corland is a well-regarded damsire, bringing the influence of Cor de la Bryère even closer in Cat Ninja’s pedigree. Her third dam is by the Holsteiner Indoctro (Capitol I x Caletto II), a world-class stallion whose daughters are especially sought after. Indoctro also traces back to Cor de la Bryère, as Caletto II is one of his outstanding sons. The fourth dam of Cat Ninja is a direct daughter of KWPN legend Nimmerdor, sire of Heartbreaker among others. Nimmerdor’s influence has far exceeded the borders of the Netherlands, and his genetics remain a mark of true quality.

A KWPN damline with proven World Cup performance
Cat Ninja’s third dam, Irusa, is a KWPN mare by Nimmerdor. Irusa produced the stallion Wittinger VDL by Indoctro I, who competed up to CSI3* 1.50m in the USA and sired multiple 1.60m winners. Wittinger VDL is the full brother of Pyrusa H, Cat Ninja’s second dam. Her fourth dam, Carusa by Nabuur, is the full sister of Grand Star, Michael Endicott’s standout horse of the 90s. Grand Star competed at CSIW5* 1.60m level, with notable results including 1st in the Los Angeles World Cup Grand Prix, 4th in San Diego, 5th in Flintridge, and 9th in Bridgehampton. Grand Star’s sister also produced Ragrusa H by Animo, a CSI5* and CSIO4* 1.60m performer with Marie Pellegrin, who won the Nations Cup in Zagreb and placed 8th in the Naples Grand Prix.
