More About Venise de Hus

Venise de Hus, a dam of champions and the daughter of a champion, boasts a prominent Oldenburg maternal line with the finest bloodlines in her pedigree.

Falko de Hus, the Prodigal Son
At just 3 years old, Venise de Hus was bred to Baloubet du Rouet, producing her first foal, the famed Falko de Hus. Crowned the champion of the 7-year-olds at Fontainebleau in 2022, Falko de Hus has since continued to excel at the highest levels under François Xavier Boudant. A highly popular stallion in France, Falko de Hus has already sired nearly 300 foals, with his first generation starting to compete in young horse circuits. At only 13 years old, Venise de Hus has some very promising young offspring, making owning one of her products a rare and valuable opportunity. Used judiciously, Venise de Hus has no more than one foal per year.

Banda de Hus, a 5-Star Sporting Career and 5-Star Production
A formidable competitor with Kevin Staut and then Gregory Wathelet, Banda de Hus has competed on some of the finest courses worldwide. She has distinguished herself with a 4th place finish in the CSIO5* 1.60m Grand Prix in Rome, 9th in the World Cup Grand Prix CSIW5* 1.60m in Helsinki, and numerous victories in 1.50m speed classes at CSIO5* events. Remarkably, Banda de Hus’s offspring have matched her impressive sports career, with few international winners having the ability to produce top winners. Banda de Hus is the dam of four 1.50m performers: Farouk de Hus z (ISO 160 with Jérôme Hurel), Uranhus (ISO 149 with Régis Bougennec), Colisée de Hus (CSI 1.50m in the UAE with Shk Ali Jmal Al Nuaimi), and the stallion Eiffel de Hus (ISO 153 CSI 1.55m in Italy with Giuseppe). Venise de Hus is directly descended from the remarkable Banda de Hus and is also the direct sister to other successful international winners.

The Excellence of the Oldenburg Lineage from Blankile, Blankonette
Blankonette III (Lefevre), the second dam of Venise de Hus, produced three 1.60m horses, including Banda de Hus at CSIO5* 1.60m, as well as Cool Down 7 (CSI5* 1.60m with Ludger Beerbaum) and Lima 47 (CSI5* 1.60m with Alison Robitaille). Blankonette (Inschallah), the third dam, is the mother of Corlanda (CSIW 1.60m). Blankile (Zeus), the fourth dam of Venise de Hus, has at least five great-grandchildren who are top winners in CSI5* 1.60m events. Each of Venise de Hus’s ancestors has produced top winners, firmly embedding sports aptitude in this remarkable maternal line.

Prominent Names in European Breeding
The sire of Venise de Hus, the stylish Vivaldi du Seigneur (Chellano), is not only a good winner (CSI 1.50m) but also boasts phenomenal genetics and high-quality offspring. Indeed, Vivaldi du Seigneur is a son of the famed Panama du Seigneur (Darco) and a grandson of the equally famous Mic Mac du Dieu Démon (Heartbreaker), making his production particularly outstanding. With relatively few offspring, he has top-level performers like Valentino de Hus (CSIO5* 1.60m, €182,000 in earnings), Pommerol (CSI5*, €131,000 in earnings), and Jalisco W (CSI3* 1.60m, €119,000 in earnings). Venise de Hus carries world-class male genetics across generations, with a sire lineage of Vivaldi du Seigneur (Chellano) x Argentinus x Lefevre x Inschallah x Zeus x Furioso II. The first dam of Venise de Hus is by the influential Hanoverian sire Argentinus, from which Arko III comes. The third dam is by the French Anglo-Arab, Inschallah, highly sought after in current pedigrees. The fourth dam is by the legendary French Anglo-Arab, Zeus ex Gordios (Arlequin), a breed leader of the Oldenburg with a global influence from which Zandor Z comes. The fifth dam is by the Selle Français Furioso II, also a breed leader of the Oldenburg with a global influence from which For Pleasure comes.
