V-Coretta is a direct daughter of the great sire, Calido (Cantus). Calido is an exceptional breeder, producing notable horses such as Coupe de Coeur CSIO5* 1.60m and Charley CSIW5* 1.70m. Calido’s pedigree is quintessentially Holstein, featuring double inbreeding on the foundational sires Cor de la Bryère and Roman.

Doretta II, V-Coretta’s dam, is a daughter of the fantastic producer, Lord (Ladykiller). Lord and Landgraf I are both famed sons of the Thoroughbred founder Ladykiller, belonging to Holstein’s “L” lineage. Like Calido, Lord also has a typical Holstein pedigree as the son of Ladykiller and a mare by another great Thoroughbred founder, Cottage Son. Besides his direct prolific offspring, Lord is an exceptional dam’s sire, making him even more valuable in a pedigree when found in this position.

A Legendary Maternal Lineage

What a maternal lineage! It includes the incredible foundation mare, Ibylle (Moltke I). Indeed, Ibylle is the fourth dam of the contemporary Milton z (Mylord Carthago) CSIO5* 1.60m with Jerôme Guery. Ibylle is the third dam of the fantastic Corland (Cor de la Bryère), a major winner in CSI5* 1.60m with Wout Jan van Der Schans and a top-tier sire, notably the father of Sylvana, the world vice-champion with Kevin Staut. Ibylle is the fifth dam of the legendary mare, Corradina, world champion with Carsten Otto Nagel in Lexington. Ibylle is also the fifth dam of the stallion Brantzau (Baloubet du Rouet), whose offspring are making marks in European Korung events.

Flawless and Evolving Production

V-Coretta is the dam of two approved stallions: Tulord della Caccia (Toulon) standing in Italy, and Herbie della Caccia (Heartbreaker), a young stallion born in 2019 and approved SBS. Quarisma della Caccia (Quaprice) has excelled up to CSIO5* 1.45m with Bertram Allen. Choppin della Caccia is a winner at 1.45m in Italy with Federico Bellin. Quick Moon della Caccia (Quick Star) is a successful competitor in the USA at 1.30m. Quick Ginger della Caccia (Quick Star) is a promising 7-year-old at 1.35m, gearing up for the higher levels under Molly Hay (USA). Young offspring of V-Coretta, sired by illustrious fathers, are currently in training, suggesting a promising evolution of V-Coretta’s lineage.
