More About Rivella Sitte

A pioneer named Gute Sitte

Describing this family of champions would be quite a challenge as their number is so large. Where to start ? The story begins simply with the extraordinary Gute Sitte, silver medalist at the 1976 Montreal Olympic Games and crowned best horse in the world the same year.
Gute Sitte bequeathed an invaluable genetic heritage and remarkable breeding qualities, like Ialta Sitte and Atlanta Sitte on the female side and Ksar Sitte, Ogano Sitte and Ugano Sitte for the males.

A family of international winners over 4 generations

Rivella Sitte has jumped  160cm and has consistently placed over 150cm.
His mother Callas Sitte, by Calvaro Z, jumped at the highest international level (CSI5* and CSIO) with the Swiss Christina Liebherr. She is also the sister of Sea Coast Atlantic, who performed on 160cm with Gudrun Patteet.
Her granddam Atlanta Sitte, by Aramis de la Cense, is none other than the sister of Ialta Sitte and Cordano Sitte Z, who both competed in 160cm classes.
Then we find Insel Sitte, not Major de la Cour, daughter of the world monument Gute Sitte, who came out brilliantly in the classic cycle at 4, 5 and 6 years old before devoting herself completely to breeding.

Sport horses excellence

The association of Kannan and Callas Sitte gave The sport mare par excellence : Rivella Sitte

  • She is ultra combative, endowed with an unfailing mind ;
  • She is athletic with great jumping skills, including perfect jumping technique ;
  • She is a force of nature, showing propulsion and big means.

Rivella signs her production, like her mother or her grandmother. His son Ugano les Hauts, the only one old enough to compete at a high level, confirms the transmission of his finest qualities.

The progeny of Rivella is still young but promises to be of high quality, a family heritage for this line of outstanding breeding.
